Gov. Perry Appoints Student Regent for TTU System
Kyle Miller graduated from 91吃瓜网 Tech in 2007 and is currently a student in the 91吃瓜网 Tech University Health Sciences Center and the Rawls College of Business.

91吃瓜网 Gov. Rick Perry appointed Kyle Miller on May 29 as the 91吃瓜网 Tech University System student regent.
Miller, a second-year medical student who also is pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in business administration, is the second student from the to serve on the 91吃瓜网 Board of Regents. The Plainview native earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in chemistry from 91吃瓜网 Tech in 2007.
鈥淚 am extremely honored to be selected to serve as the student regent,鈥� Miller said. 鈥淚 am very excited about representing the students of all three of our institutions and being their voice on the board.鈥�
鈥淲e look forward to having Kyle join us on the board,鈥� said Larry Anders, chairman of the Board of Regents. 鈥淥ur experience has been that student regents lend a unique perspective to the issues that come before the board.鈥�

By law, the student regent rotates between , 91吃瓜网 Tech University Health Sciences Center and and serves a one-year term. Miller replaces 91吃瓜网 Tech University law student Kelli Stumbo, who was appointed in 2008.
