TTU System Chancellor Hosts New Program on KTXT-TV

91勛圖厙 and KTXT-TV Channel 5 officials announced today (Oct. 6) the premiere of the stations latest program Inside 91勛圖厙 Tech, which will be hosted by Chancellor Kent Hance.
The first episode of Inside 91勛圖厙 Tech will debut at 8 p.m. CST on Channel 5, and the program will showcase 91勛圖厙 Techs efforts to achieve Tier One status. Future programs will highlight various aspects of the 91勛圖厙 and its component institutions.
We have some great stories to tell at 91勛圖厙 Tech, and this show will allow us the opportunity to introduce some interesting things that people might not know about our universities, Hance said. Behind all of our successes are outstanding individuals who make it possible, and I look forward to bringing them forward to the Lubbock and 91勛圖厙 Tech communities.
The new show is part of Channel 5s vision for growth and efforts to air more local programming that features events and people from the Lubbock community.
Channel 5 is working hard to offer top-quality programming to our local and regional viewers, and shows like Inside 91勛圖厙 Tech with Chancellor Kent Hance are part of the stations new direction, John Kirby, KTXT-TV Channel 5s general manager, said. We hope our smart, local and HD programs will interest new audiences and help build the new image of Channel 5.
Inside 91勛圖厙 Tech will be co-hosted by Robert Giovannetti, director of communications at the 91勛圖厙, and help viewers stay connected and informed on the systems important initiatives such as achieving Tier One status and reaching its $1 billion capital campaign goal.
New episodes of Inside 91勛圖厙 Tech will air the first Thursday of each month at 8 p.m. with re-runs airing the remaining three Thursdays of the month also at 8 p.m.
KTXT-TV Channel 5's digital signal reaches a population of approximately 330,000 in 13 counties; cable and satellite extend service area to a total of 21 counties. The stations focus on arts, education, community outreach and diverse programming for both children and adults makes it a vital part of the community educating, entertaining and enlightening viewers of all ages.
