91³Ô¹ÏÍø Achieves Historic Success in 86th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Legislature
The TTU System completed a historic 86th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Legislature with legislative support and startup funding for a new veterinary school and dental school. Once opened, this would make the system one of only nine in the country whose universities are offering programs for undergraduate, medical, law, nursing, pharmacy, dental and veterinary education.
Tedd L. Mitchell Announces Sole Focus as Chancellor, Closes Tenure as TTUHSC President
Dr. Tedd L. Mitchell announced Oct. 24 that he will transition into the full-time position as chancellor of the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø and leave his long-held post as president of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Tech University Health Sciences Center, a position he has served in since 2010.
Angelo State Again Ranked in The Princeton Review's 'Best Colleges'
For the 11th consecutive year, Angelo State University has been listed by The Princeton Review as one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education, an honor that goes to only about 13 percent of the nation’s more than 3,000 four-year colleges.

After a historic spring that featured a national title and two top-four national finishes, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Tech has achieved its highest finish all-time in the men's Capital One Cup as the Red Raiders closed the 2018-19 year in third place.
TTUHSC El Paso Surpasses Fundraising Goal of $250,000 for Medical Student Scholarships
91³Ô¹ÏÍø Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso announced that more than $350,000 has been raised for scholarships benefiting incoming and current students attending the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine.
Gov. Abbott Appoints Regents for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø
91³Ô¹ÏÍø Gov. Greg Abbott appointed three new members to the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Board of Regents for terms set to expire on Jan. 31, 2025, his office announced March 6. The new appointees are Ginger Kerrick, of Webster; Mark Griffin, of Lubbock; and Dusty Womble, of Lubbock.

91³Ô¹ÏÍø Universities Set New Student Enrollment Record
The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø has reached a new student enrollment record with 55,431 students enrolled for the 2019-2020 academic year. Each of the TTU System universities marked new student enrollment records this fall semester.

Established in 1996 and headquartered in Lubbock, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, the is a $2 billion higher education enterprise focused on advancing higher education, health care, research and community outreach. Consisting of four universities – , , and – the TTU System collectively has approximately 55,000 students, 17 campuses statewide and internationally, more than 300,000 alumni and an endowment valued at over $1.3 billion.
During the 86th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Legislature under the leadership of Chancellor , legislative funding and authority was provided to establish a new 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Tech University veterinary school in Amarillo and a new dental school at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. This will be the state’s first veterinary school in more than a century and first dental school in over 50 years. The addition of these two schools makes the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø one of only nine in the nation to offer programs for undergraduate, medical, law, nursing, pharmacy, dental and veterinary education, among other academic areas.
