A Message from Regent Pat Gordon - Chief Audit Executive Search
Dear 91³Ô¹ÏÍø family,
I write today to share that we will soon begin a search for our next chief audit executive at the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø (TTU System) and that the Board of Regents and Chancellor Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., have formed a search committee to assist in this effort. I am honored to serve as chairman of this systemwide search committee and to work alongside a dedicated group of colleagues to help identify a talented and exceptional leader for this important role.
Our nine-member committee includes representatives with extensive knowledge and experience from the TTU System Administration and each of our five component institutions. To support this comprehensive search, the TTU System has engaged , a nationally recognized executive search firm, to help identify a highly qualified pool of candidates.
Regent Pat GordonConsidering the significance of this role, we will conduct a thoughtful search process that takes into account the tremendous growth of the TTU System and impact of this key function for our organization. The TTU System continues to expand in size, stature and impact, presenting us with new opportunities and increasing interest in the position of chief audit executive. While we are committed to moving forward in a timely manner, our top priority is to identify the right person for this critical leadership position.
We are seeking a chief audit executive who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the audit field, who champions our culture, and who will be a strategic partner for the entire TTU System and Board of Regents. The committee will review and evaluate applicants, recommending the most qualified candidates to the chancellor and Board of Regents for final consideration.

I appreciate each of these individuals for their dedication to the TTU System in serving on this committee, and we plan to provide updates as the search progresses.
